Honoring Heroes. Building Legacies.

At Compass Financial, we often talk about legacy, what you leave behind for your loved ones, your community, and future generations.
This last week, we were honored to live out that value as the Gold Sponsor of the Tunnel to Towers Charleston Golf & Dinner Classic.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation was founded in honor of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, who on September 11, 2001, strapped 60 pounds of gear to his back and ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers — where he gave his life saving others. His story is a reminder to us all: "While we have time, let us do good."
Today, the Foundation continues that mission by:
Paying off mortgages for families of fallen first responders
Building smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans
Supporting America’s military and first responder heroes in powerful, practical ways
We were humbled to join this cause, and inspired by the impact being made across the country.

Your Legacy Matters Too
Stephen’s story is extraordinary, but the lesson applies to all of us: none of us knows how much time we have. What we do know is that every choice we make - financial, personal, and relational - can become part of the legacy we leave.
Whether it’s supporting causes you believe in, creating financial security for your family, or planning your retirement with intention, you have the power to make an impact.
The question is: what legacy do you want to leave?
If you’re ready to create clarity about your own legacy and retirement plan, let’s start the conversation.
